Hilal Takaful Nigeria Limited, formerly known as Cornerstone Takaful Nigeria Limited, pioneered the Takaful insurance landscape in Nigeria, becoming the first composite Takaful Window Operator in 2010 under the authorization of the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
