Abdur-Rasheed Abiodun Babalola, mni, is a financial services executive with over 20 years of experience in Takaful, Islamic finance, general insurance, microinsurance, and financial inclusion. As Managing Director of Hilal Takaful Insurance Company Limited, he is focused on expanding access to ethical, Shariah-compliant insurance solutions and promoting sustainable economic growth.

He also co-developed innovative microinsurance products approved by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), helping to extend insurance coverage to underserved communities.

Beyond his corporate leadership, he is passionate about mentorship and transformational leadership, having mentored and advised over 1,000 emerging leaders. He also served as a Non-Executive Director of Arthur Group, a non-interest financial asset management company.

He holds a B.Sc. in Insurance and a Master’s degree in Managerial Psychology from the University of Lagos and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria. His leadership reflects a commitment to strengthening Takaful, advancing financial inclusion, and delivering sustainable value to individuals, businesses, and communities.

Peter Ekwueme is a highly accomplished insurance professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Technical Operations at Cornerstone Insurance Plc. With an impressive career spanning over 28 years, he has consistently demonstrated his commitment to excellence and expertise in various aspects of the insurance industry.

Through his dedication and exceptional leadership, he climbed the corporate ladder, holding roles of increasing responsibility. His tenure included a crucial role as the Executive Director of Technical Operations at FIN Insurance Company Limited before returning to Cornerstone. Notably, as the General Manager and Divisional Head, he oversaw the Institutional Business unit, managing sales and operations for the Special Risk segment across multiple regions.

His extensive experience, leadership prowess, and dedication to excellence make him an invaluable asset to the insurance industry. His journey from a Graduate Trainee in 1995 to an Executive Director exemplifies his remarkable career trajectory and commitment to the field. In his current role at Cornerstone Insurance Plc, he continues to drive technical operations, ensuring the highest standards of service and performance. Furthermore, his contributions and impact on the insurance sector underscore his status as a visionary and accomplished leader, shaping the future of insurance in Nigeria.

He possesses a solid educational foundation, with a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Agriculture Makurdi and a Master's in Business Administration from Delta State University Abraka. His commitment to professional growth is evident in his affiliation as an Associate member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN). Furthermore, Peter's dedication to continuous learning is underscored by his participation in various courses, including an Advanced Management Course on Sales Force Performance Management at the renowned Kellogg School of Management in Illinois, Chicago, USA. His association with the Kellogg School of Management and the Lagos Business School reflects his proactive approach to staying abreast of industry developments.

Olalekan Moshood has over 22 years’ experience in Technical Operations: spanning Underwriting, Claims Administration, Reinsurance and Risks Management, Insurance Broking. Prior to joining FIN Insurance Company Limited as the Head, Technical Division. He was the Group Head, Underwriting, Cornerstone Insurance Plc and transformation as demonstrated in his career path. Prior to that he worked as Regional Head, Northlink Insurance Brokers.

Olalekan is a graduate of Insurance from the Polytechnic, Ibadan, Nigeria with Upper Credit grade and a Fellow of Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (FCIIN), an Associate member of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (ANCRIB), Associate member of the Institute of Benefits & Trusts Management and Associate member of Institute of Islamic Finance Professional of Nigeria.

He has attended numerous local and international training courses across various fields of human endeavors.

Abubakar Sadik Adam is a seasoned professional with over four decades of diverse experience in both public and private sectors. He began his career as a Marketing Officer II at Nigerian Airways Ltd in Lagos from 1983 to 1985, before transitioning to a Senior Commercial Manager role at NTA Yola. Abubakar then joined Cotton and Agricultural Processors Ltd, Zaria, a subsidiary of the NNDC Group, where he held various managerial positions, including Assistant Commercial Manager, Commercial Manager/Head of Department, Company Secretary, Assistant General Manager, and Division Manager (North East Zone).

In 2002, Abubakar joined the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), where he has held numerous leadership roles over the past two decades. His positions at NHIS include Assistant General Manager in the Operations, Investment and Revenue Generation, and Human Resources & Administration Departments, as well as Head of the Legal Unit, Management Information Systems (MIS), and Zonal Coordinator for the Lagos and North East Zones. Abubakar currently serves as the Acting Executive Secretary/CEO of the NHIS.

Alongside his impressive work experience, Abubakar Sadik Adam has also earned an exceptional educational background. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Bayero University, Kano, which he obtained in 1982. Furthering his studies, Abubakar went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Jos, Plateau State, in 1987. Demonstrating his commitment to continued learning, Abubakar later obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 2002, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2003. His unique blend of business acumen and legal expertise has established him as a distinguished leader in Nigeria’s corporate landscape.

Tajudeen Ibrahim is a Non-Executive Director of Hilal Takaful Insurance Company Limited and the Director of Research at Chapel Hill Denham, Nigeria's leading independent investment bank and asset manager.

He possesses over 15 years of deep experience in macroeconomic research, equity analysis, financial modeling, and investment strategy. Prior to joining Chapel Hill Denham, Tajudeen led research and strategy teams at prominent investment banking institutions.

He is a graduate of Economics and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS). Tajudeen brings acute analytical rigor to Hilal Takaful's board, guiding ethical treasury deployment, capital allocation, and Shariah-compliant asset strategies.

Jubril Ajose is the Chief Financial Officer at Cornerstone Insurance PLC and Non-Executive Director at Hilal Takaful Insurance Company Limited. He is a chartered accountant with over three decades of experience as a financial analyst, taxation expert, investment manager, and insurance financial reporting specialist.

A graduate of Accountancy from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, and Economics from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, Jubril also holds two master's degrees: a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Uyo and a Master’s in Management Psychology from the University of Ibadan.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an Associate Member of both the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM).

Jubril previously served at Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited (formerly FBN Insurance Limited) as Financial Controller, bringing invaluable insurance accounting precision, Solvency II understanding, and statutory audit integrity to Hilal Takaful.

Akeem Shadare is a Non-Executive Director of Hilal Takaful Insurance Company Limited and the Managing Director of Chapel Hill Denham Securities. He brings over two decades of extensive leadership and technical experience in securities trading, institutional equities, and capital markets operations.

Akeem joined Denham Management in 2007 and has led the Securities Trading business since July 2014, playing a pivotal role in driving market depth, secondary market execution, and regulatory compliance. Prior to this, he was an Audit Senior at the reputable accounting firm Muyiwa Bunmi Ogunlela & Co.

Akeem is a graduate of Management and Accounting from Obafemi Awolowo University. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS), the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN), the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), and the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (CIMN).
